The JBL MBB218 'black box' stereo is a first in the marine industry!

The JBL MBB218 focuses specifically on eliminating the potential problem of water intrusion in a marine stereo. The JBL MBB218 comes with a waterproof faceplate as well as a separate box, functioning as the 'brain' of the unit, that can be placed anywhere! This JBL MBB218 box allows boaters to put it in a water-protected area. In this era of portable media, many boaters are more interested in bringing along their iPod than in using a traditional CD player, so we designed the JBL MBB218 with no CD mechanism. Instead, the JBL MBB218 is equipped with aux-in to plug in either an MP3 player or a variety of other types of portable media
