Fuel Management: The Northstar Explorer 557 GPS Chartplotter unit has a built-in fuel computer. Just purchase the optional fuel kit to display fuel management data such as fuel flow, fuel remaining, estimated range and fuel economy. A graphical fuel gauge complements this digital information, and each Explorer comes SmartCraft?-ready - a fantastic feature for boats with compatible Mercury, MerCruiser and Mariner engines.

Northstar Explorer 557: The built-in 32 MB regional background map still offers reliable entry-level use, waiting to be enhanced with C-Maps latest cartography: NT MAX?. With a 640 x 480 pixel screen, chart display becomes 4 times sharper than the 550, making the 557 very easy on the eye.
