The innovative, feature packed Raymarine Ray240 marine VHF radio, with Digital Selective Positioning Request, is designed for easy integration with Raymarine products. The cell phone style handset has a familiar button arrangement with a slide down covers that protects an alphanumeric keypad. The radio?s Standard Class D, Digital Selective Calling, capability enables you to transmit vital information including your boat?s identification, position and time of distress using SeaTalk or NMEA 0183 data from your GPS. Placing a DSC distress call is as easy as pushing the accessible distress button on the back of the waterproof handset.
