The Micronet Power Boat Wind System will make docking in winds much easier by ensuring you have accurate wind speed and direction information in you line of site. Being both wireless and solar powered the instruments require no cabling to be run and no holes to be cut and the system can be fitted in minutes withoput the need for an electronics engineer. Wireless means that there are no vulnerable connections that can be damaged by pounding and vibration at high speeds and you can place your display on the flybridge, in the cockpit, in the saloon or even in your pocket.

For the first time, you can have wind information without running any cables. The Wind Transmitter measurres Wind Speed and Direction and sends data to any Micronet display via wireless link. It can be fitted (simple three-screw attachment) directly to a radar arch or cabin top. Calibration for wind speed and direction is done at the display. All Tacktick instruments are waterproof to 10m and therefore fully resistant to water over the flybridge.
