If you boat near busy seaports, in harbors or just offshore of major cites and are troubled with annoying squawks and squeals erupting from your VHF radio, the 5225-FLT is for you. Using Shakespeares revolutionary filter technology, the 5225-FLT provides all the performance of the award-winning, flagship Galaxy® 5225-XT, plus it can significantly reduce annoying Out-of-Band and Intermod Interference caused by pagers, land mobile radios and other signals near the marine VHF radio band. And, it does this with virtually no effect on transmit range. The 5225-FLT features the extra tough Galaxy® fiberglass with its high-gloss polyurethane finish. Maximum range and quality in a great looking antenna.
