Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool - 50070-0200

Tool seems well made but has some problems: 1. Gripper "teeth" are too dull to properly bite into a difficult impeller. They required some sharpening with a file. 2. T-handle is too long for my installation and hit on surrounding equipment when turned. I had to shorten the handle to allow it to turn freely in my application. 3. Thumbscrews threaded into handle to allow tightening the "gripper" have a sharp end bearing on gripper arms and tend to bite in an bend. I had to remove the thumbscrews and dress the ends of the bolts rounded over to reduce the tendency to bite in and bend the screw. Other than these issues, tool seems well made and robust, just apparently designed and built by someone who never actually used the tool.
